About the initiative
Helping people recognize what they bring to relationships.
RELATE Strengths Discovery is a relationship self-reflection initiative created by Jacob Mensah. It gives people a constructive vocabulary for understanding how they love, what helps them thrive, and where a strength may need balance.
Why RELATE exists
Relationship conversations often begin with problems. RELATE begins with capacity: the positive patterns a person already uses to build trust, communicate, connect, cooperate, align, and enjoy life with someone else. Naming those patterns can make thoughtful conversations and intentional growth easier.
What the assessment provides
After responding to 72 statements, you first receive your Top Five relationship strengths. You can then explore all 18 strengths, grouped into six broader domains. Each leading strength includes a description of what you bring, what you may need, a possible blind spot, and an action to try.
RELATE has not yet completed psychometric validation. It is not therapy, a clinical diagnosis, a compatibility prediction, or a substitute for professional support. Results are invitations for reflection, not permanent labels.
