Privacy at RELATE

This page explains the information used to provide your RELATE account and saved relationship strengths assessment.

Information we collect

When you create an account, RELATE receives the name you provide, your email address, and your password. Your password is stored as a protected cryptographic hash rather than readable text. We also store your assessment responses and progress so you can return on another device.

How information is used

The information is used to authenticate you, save your assessment, calculate your results, and display your profile. RELATE does not ask for a partner’s name or require partners to connect accounts.

Your choices

You may choose not to create an account, but an account is required to take and save the current online assessment. Avoid including sensitive personal details in name fields. If account deletion tools are added, this page will be updated with instructions.

Important limits

No online service can promise absolute security. Use a unique password and keep it private. RELATE is an educational pilot; do not use the assessment to record urgent safety, medical, or legal information.
